Join us for a day of education, analysis and discussion on the legal protection of animals in entertainment, featuring Keynote Speaker Gary Francione, one of the most well-known figures in the modern animal rights movement.

Protecting Animal Actors from Harm in Film and Television
Rethinking the Role of Zoos
Beneath the Big Top: Legal Regulation of Circuses

The purpose of the conference is to engage our speakers and attendees in a productive dialogue about the ongoing use of animals in entertainment activities, focusing on the law’s role in regulating these activities to ensure the welfare of the animal participants.
