Not too long ago, we highlighted the Ebony Fashion Fair exhibit, now open at the Chicago History Museum. In addition to the exhibit, items from the traveling fashion show were auctioned off at a Chicago gem--Leslie Hindman Auctioneers. This West Loop location is not only conveniently placed, but is so much more than meets the eye once you step inside.

Leslie Hindman Auctioneers has led the auction market for over 30 years, making the midwest a catalyst in the auction industry. Founded in Chicago in 1982, Leslie Hindman specializes in high profile auctions of contemporary paintings, rare books, fine jewelry, French furniture, fashion pieces, and more.
I must say my visit to this auction house was not only breathtaking, but a restoration of pride. The integrity of the establishment is one characteristic to the City of Chicago, while the eye for fashion, vintage pieces, and treasured possessions is unmatched.
