Say It Ain’t So, O!

Just yesterday, Oprah Winfrey announced the final taping of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” will air on September 9, 2011. This news has not only saddened her staff, but also the citizens of Chicago.

Oprah is a fixture in Chicago and is almost synonymous with the city, itself. Of course the show will have been on for 25 seasons when it ends 2 years from now, but to many, you can never get enough Oprah! The Queen of Talk has a Los Angeles location ready to go for her upcoming cable network and will hand out severance packages for those not placed within Harpo after the show ends. She also has talks to continue as a mainstay in the lives of her viewers....all anxious to see how.
