Many of us have a slew of clothes and shoes, and often run out of space for them. Even more of us (hopefully) like to share our gifts and blessings with others. Certainly there's a number of us who like styling others, helping them bring out the best in themselves, and their closets. Well, Chicago has the perfect place!
Bottomless Closet is the first workforce agency of its kind in the United States. In their own words, the founders of this nonprofit agency sought "to elevate the employment potential and marketability of women welfare recipients who want to work. It will provide clothing, at no charge, to women on assistance who don't have suitable clothing to wear to a job interview".
Volunteers can share their time by signing up for personal consultations to share their style savvy knowledge, or donate gently used professional attire to those preparing for the workforce. This organization truly has it all! Share your fashion, share your passion, make a difference.
