Finally a Fashion Focus
Just last week, Fordham University School of Law in NYC announced the launch of their Fashion Law Institute. For so long, those loving the law with a passion for fashion have dreamed of such a place; and now, the lawyers of tomorrow have it!
The Fashion Law Institute is the first of its kind, and the long awaited incarnation of many fashionista esquires. The Institute will give designers and design students the services they'll need to be legally sound in the fashion industry. Fashion law students will be trained to provide counselling and assistance on topics ranging from trademarking to brand licensing, located right in the midst of Manhattan's Garment District.
Noted fashion lawyer, Susan Scafidi will be heading the Institute along with the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The fall of 2010 will mark the begining of a phenomenon in the legal industry. We are more than excited and proud of this step in the stylish direction.
