Looks Like Wyclef Won't Be President

As reported earlier this month, famed Haitian rapper, Wyclef, Jean has been gunning for the Presidential race in his homeland of Haiti. It was reported today, the nation's election board rejected his bid for the upcoming election.

Some speculate it may be because of his family leaving Haiti for Brooklyn when he was a youngster, or the requirements of living in the country for a certain amount of time prior to becoming President. Although Wyclef has always proven to be a proud Haitian and greatly supportive of the nation, it looks like rules are rules. Maybe the rallies of his many supporters will sway the board one way or another.
