Fashion's Night Out Hits Primetime!

NYC's Fashion's Night Out 2010 will be the subject of a one hour TV special. CBS broadcasting recently announced a September 14th broadcast for the 2nd-year fashion event, highlighting the ins and outs of planning the big party.

Now in its second year, Fashion’s Night Out, a worldwide initiative to celebrate fashion and support local economies, was launched in 2009 by Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America and NYC & Company in response to the global economic downturn.

The event encourages cities all around the world to put fashion on the map and stimulate the economy. Celebrities, brands, and retailers host special events, performances, and special sales after-hours, creating an evening of fun, networking, and shopping.
