Now That The Votes Are In....

With today being 2 days after the midterm election, the climate of the upcoming terms will be quite interesting.  As suspected, many of the Democratic seats filled upon President Obama's 2008 arrival in the White House have been refilled with Republican seats.  The Green and Tea Parties have upped their ante in politics as legitimate participants.  Granted, the frustration of the state of our union is rampant, but the quick outpouring may have been premature.  We have years of things to clean up, and a major swap out at the midterm may not be the answer.

This year was rough for all political parties, as some sought greater recognition, others redemption, and all were vying to stay afloat.  The toughest task was the non-connected voters; those not having a political or social service affiliation, but contacted because of their registered voter status.  Many voters quickly grew frustrated with the onslaught of robocalls and messages they received.  

The political climate is in a similar position to the economy, riddled with challenges we must overcome.  It's the nature of the 2; they have upswings and downswings, critical to our society in ways not obvious to the untrained eye.  Politics and economics are volatile, and must more in cycles.  The length of the cycle is what's lies in our hands more than we realize.
