Today is World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is one of the most recognized health awareness days across the globe. The commemoration began in 1988 by the International AIDS Society at the international AIDS Conference.
AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) is the final stage of HIV, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. It is a great breakdown of the immune system, putting the body at risk for opportunistic infections, arising because of a weakened immune system.
