5 Ways to Get Involved in Your Community!
In honor of MLK’s passing birthday and commemoration of the civil rights movement, B.A.F.F.L.E.D. would like to present five ways for people to serve their communities.
1. Donate things you don’t need anymore.
2. Volunteer many different ways to do this: Chicago Cares or serve.gov for national opportunities.
3. Find a non-profit to donate time to.
4. Start at home and help infirm or elderly family members.
5. Donate money to organizations such as The Firebelly Foundation (in Chicago) or the United Way.
There are obviously more ways than these 5 to get out there and serve!
