The trailer for the Milk + Honey series, our labor of love, went live last week.  And, the world has received it pretty well overall.  We did an exclusive window on theybf and then continued to spread the word virally.  We are overjoyed by the response and support that people have given.  It's been over 3 years, since Asha, Jeanette, and I first started having those night to early morning calls sharing the stories that became the script that we believed we and our friends could relate to and wanted to see.  Our mission was to showcase and celebrate the diversity of women of color by sharing universal stories on screen and it has been a journey--from the fundraising to getting the best folks attached and then to actually shooting and now getting it out there.  We have definitely had our share of nos and rejection, but have held strong to the idea that our stories deserve to be told.
 

I just want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us in so many different ways--love, prayers, money, locations, wardrobe, art, feedback, events, press, tweets and just your continued encouragement.  I honestly don't know what we would have done without you.  Milk + Honey is evidence that when God places a dream in your heart and you consistently pursue it as He guides, the entire universe works on your behalf.
