Black History Month will be celebrated in various ways over the next few weeks. Check out some of the events and specials below to join in the commemoration.
BET and CENTRIC have great programming scheduled during February. The networks will be honoring The Cosby Show, one of the landmark sitcoms showcasing the African-American family. President Obama will be acknowledged on a special highlighting his African heritage, and Modern Black History Heroes will air, as a conversation among leaders making black history today.
A&E will be highlighting African-American movemakers on Biography, and have decked out their website with facts, stories, and photos of our American heroes.

History.com is airing specials on the influence of African-Americans on today's society. Topics include sports, politics, entertainment, and more.

The National Museum of African-American History hosts Curating for African-Americans, for those interested in exhibiting, sculpting, and collecting.
