Summertime Chi - The Chicago River

Chicago is know for its beautiful lakefront, but the Chicago River is a pride and joy as well.  During warm months, the river lights up with boats, architectural tours, and dining.

Enjoy the breeze and feast your eyes on these tasty spots along the Chicago River.

---
Bridge Bar Chicago
This is a great spot for an afternoon lunch or evening drink.  It's right on the River at Clark St. You'll enjoy great food and an amazing view.

O'Brien's
Great spot for meeting up with coworkers after hours, or even a private event.  There's ample space to be comfortable and watch the boats go by.  They also have an Old Town location for when the temperatures start to drop.

Smith & Wollensky
Perfect for the swanky foodie.  You get a nice view by the river--even better at night, plus some of the best, award-winning food in the City.  This is a must-go for sure!

Chicago Cut
Some of the best chicken parmigiana--no question, but of course their steak is tasty, too.  Dipped off a bit between LaSalle St. and Wells, this spot has renowned dinner, drinks, and lunch!

Japonais
This Japanese-inspired spot is a bit north on the River, with a relaxing feel for dinner or drinks.  The cabanas outside are nice for enjoying a Chicago night.  Switch it up and check them out!

Chicago River Cafe
It's a casual spot, ideal for after work.  They have daily specials and the manager is so friendly! Drop by for a bit and enjoy.
