USMC: Fashionable Fighters--

Just in time for the weather to warm up, the United States Marine Corp is ready as always.   After 2 years of being barred from rolling up their sleeves (and often showing off Eagle-Globe-and-Anchor tattoos), the Few and the Proud have been cleared to again roll up their sleeves.

The short sleeved look was one unique to the USMC.   They felt it, like many other traits, set them apart from the other branches of our country's military.  Commandant Gen. James Amos said the change had been in review for some time, and after discussions with Board members, now was the time to act.  Frustration with the mandate had not gone away as they though it would.  More changes could be in the works, as Gen. Amos frequently takes questions and comments via Facebook and Twitter.

Surely after a season of polar vortices and snow, the Marines will be glad to roll up their sleeves as they protect our nation.
